Contract between Karen Leach (photographer) and client/s
I/We wish to reserve your photographic services for a session and agree to pay the balance of the fee for the chosen session and the expenses.
I/We understand that the session is not booked until the deposit has been received.
I/We have read your pricing and understand that the photo session fee does not include expenses or prints. Sales tax and shipping charges will be invoiced if applicable.
I/We understand that the balance is due at the end of the photo session. If for any reason the balance is not paid on the day of the photo session, I/we agree to pay the invoice balance no later than 30 days after the photo session. Payment can be made by check or cash, or if you prefer to pay by credit card there is for a fee of 2.75% of the total.
I/We understand that we may reschedule our photo session without any additional charge, in the case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances. If the session is rescheduled during the following year, it is understood that the current year's prices will be charged.
I/We agree that if Karen has to reschedule the photo session, I/we will not hold her financially responsible in any way. I/We understand that the deposit may be refunded in full only if Karen is unable to reschedule in a reasonable period of time.
I/We agree that any requests for re-shoots are done at Karen's discretion only. Although no photography fee would be charged, all expenses (such as film and contact sheets) would be invoiced at normal and current prices.
I/We understand that one complimentary print order consultation is available up to 60 days after our photo session or we agree to pay the consultation charge after that time has expired.
I/We understand that the print prices will be guaranteed for this current year only. I/We will provide a 50% payment when print orders are placed and pay the remaining balance when prints are picked up or before they are shipped. I/We agree to pay the balance no later than 30 days after the invoice date.
I/We understand that print or product orders for family and friends must be ordered by me/us and must be paid in full before work is started or product is ordered.
I/We understand that Karen cannot guarantee the longevity of prints and will not hold Karen liable, in any shape or form, for the condition of our prints once they are in our possession.
I/We will not hold Karen liable for negative damage or loss.
I/We understand that we have permission to use our portrait photographs for our personal use only and I/we acknowledge that Karen retains the negatives and holds copyright.
